A new wayfinding and mapping solution that works in your phone’s web browser, tablet or touch-screen kiosk.
Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida recently launched WayCloud Mobile Wayfinding Service at their facility on March 1st, 2016.
WayCloud is a web application that asks hospital visitors to choose their destination at Sacred Heart and returns a link that opens up turn by turn navigation on their cellular GPS device. These directions will not only guide you to Sacred Heart Hospital but will guide you to the best parking area for your destination inside the Sacred Heart Hospital facility.
WayCloud on a Mobile Device
No more parking in a random parking area, going inside and asking for directions while hoping that you don’t have to walk all the way across campus or re-park.
Now, you can arrive at Sacred Heart and park in the closest parking area while being confident that you are in the closest parking area and using the best hospital entrance for your destination.
This first phase is external navigation only, guiding users to the correct parking and entrance. The second phase of WayCloud at Sacred Heart Hospital, scheduled to roll out on April 1st, 2016, will include internal mapping in addition to the external turn by turn driving navigation.
When both phases are implemented, WayCloud will guide hospital visitors from anywhere in the North American continent to the best Sacred Heart Hospital parking area and directly to their final destination at Sacred Heart.
WayCloud can be used via any internet capable mobile device, computer, tablet or kiosk located at the facility.
